Booking and Scheduling
Bookings for photos inside and outside the ring must be made in advance and with clear indications of what is wanted (e.g., stack, movement, headshot, etc.). Delays and unexpected changes to ring schedules may impact appointments. In such cases, affected clients will be given priority at the next event.
Delivery and Selection of Photographs
I do not send photos for selection on the day of the event; all photos will be delivered on the same day. Editing will follow the order of selection. I do not use galleries (except in rare cases); photos are sent individually, only to the owner or handler.
Use and Editing of Photographs
Photos with a watermark CAN'T be used. Once the final images are delivered, the client is not allowed to apply filters, crop, or alter the images. All edits must be done by the photographer. The signature on the final image may not be removed. If these rules are violated, the photographer has the right to request removal of the publication. This is in accordance with Portuguese Law Decree No. 63-85 of the CDADC.
Payment
Photos will only be delivered after full payment is received. No exceptions will be made regarding advance payment. If you require an invoice with tax number, please request it in advance. Accepted payment methods: Mbway, PayPal, Bank Transfer.
Scheduling and Cancellations
Private sessions must be booked at least 1 month in advance. Sessions may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Payment
A 20% deposit is required upon booking. Photos will only be delivered after full payment. Proof of payment is required. If an invoice with tax number is needed, please inform me in advance. Accepted payment methods: Mbway, PayPal, Bank Transfer.
Punctuality and Ethics
Clients are expected to be punctual. Clients are also expected to respect my working hours, normally I allocate specific times in my day to view and respond to all messages.
Use and Editing of Photographs
After the session, the client will receive a reduced-size, watermarked selection made by the photographer for choosing. Watermarked images CAN'T be used. Editing follows the order of selection. Once the final images are delivered, the client is not allowed to apply filters, crop, or alter the images.All editing is done by the photographer. The signature must not be removed. If these conditions are violated, the photographer may request removal of the publication. This is in accordance with Portuguese Law Decree No. 63-85 of the CDADC.
Animal Conditions
Animals must be in good health—otherwise, the session will not take place. Toys and treats are encouraged to capture the best expressions. Patience and empathy are key throughout the session. Basic obedience is not required, but safety must be ensured. If the pet cannot be off-leash, a long lead must be used.
Editing and Props
Props that need to be removed in editing must be as simple as possible.
Session Time
Session timing depends on the photographer’s availability. The best moments to photograph are at sunrise or sunset.
Reference Photos
Reference photos are essential to the painting process. The more references provided, the better the result. Images should be high-quality and taken at the animal’s eye level, avoiding distortion. Photos should not be taken too far or too close. If the client lacks suitable photos, Flash & Canvas offers a free photography session (depending on availability and location). Clients are asked to provide a brief description of the pet with key information.
Booking and Payment
To secure a spot on the list, a €50 deposit is required. A delivery or shipping date must be agreed upon. If availability allows, the painting may be completed earlier but will be delivered on the agreed date. Proof of deposit payment is required. Orders will be completed in sequence whenever possible. Once the work begins, digital sketches with different colors and backgrounds will be sent for selection. The remaining payment must be made before delivery or shipping. The client will receive a photo of the final result for approval before packaging.
Note: the photo may not fully reflect the final product.
Payment flexibility: The total amount can be paid in installments if previously agreed between the artist and the client.
